have motivated Packard to get
serious about her health. Having
broken both ankles in a freak fall
last year while her husband was
deployed overseas, Packard was
still immobile when she learned
that her
younger sister
had
breast cancer.
Lifestyle
changes, she
r e a l i z e d ,
were long
o v e r d u e ,
especially in
light of the fact that she lost her
mother to breast cancer and her
father to a stroke.
